What were your design goals for Big E?

We wanted to make a board suitable for both beginners and light-wind conditions, without compromising on fun-factor. BIG E is the embodiment of this philosophy and truly works in real-world conditions.

Greenpoxy Bioresin
This year we introduce our new board range, all produced with GreenPoxy 33, a revolutionary eco-friendly epoxy resin. With 35% of its molecular structure derived from plants, this resin represents a big leap forward in sustainable materials, and its performance has been tested all over the world for several years to make sure your getting the highest quality board possible.

Paulownia Core
Paulownia offers a unique blend of lightweight properties and exceptional strength, ensuring durability without compromising on performance. The natural flex characteristics of Paulownia wood enhance the board’s responsiveness, providing a smooth ride and superior control in various conditions. The Paulownia tree is by far the fastest growing hardwood tree in the world, allowing commercial returns within three years, making it a sustainable choice.

Made in Poland
All of our twintips are made in Poland. The materials are all sourced in Europe and the quality of resin, fibre-glass and carbon is extremely high. Not only that, also the consistency of production means every board comes out perfect. Decades of experience in making skis & snowboards are infused in all of our boards. They’re lighter, stronger and overall have better riding characteristics.

Light-wind weapon
With a length of 153cm and a width of 43cm and a flatter rocker, BIG E is guaranteed to get you riding comfortably upwind in marginal conditions.

Easy through chop
Light-wind doesn’t always mean butterflat water. Thanks to its flex pattern and slight rocker, BIG E comfortably riders through chop without nosediving or getting bouncy.

Playful response
Light-wind is more than just cruising, you want to have fun! BIG E is easy to turn, pop, and land, to make sure nothing is holding you back from leaving the water with a big smile on your face.

Easy to learn
The stability BIG E makes it a perfect board for beginners to ride their first meters on the water. Slow riding in comfortable conditions without having the board sink in the water, makes for quick progression. And will want to keep it in your quiver for those light days!

Offset fins
By offsetting the toe-side fins, you keep grip in the water when edging the board, so you can easily ride upwind and the board starts tracking early when doing your first board-starts.

Soft landings
A wide board can feel harder on your knees when landing, but our carefully tuned flex and tips make sure you’ll have hours of fun without even thinking about it!

Double Sandwich stringer
Provides twist control, added stiffness, and quick flex response.

Concave bottom
The full concave bottom with triple concave channels give unmatched grip in the tip area.

Progressive flex
The profile of the board is specifically tapered to provide the perfect flex repartition throughout the whole length of the board.

Rail edging channels
Channels in the bottom shaping of the board give a natural grip between your feet without having to edge hard.

Offset fins

Easy grab rails
3d shaping on the top of the board makes it easy to grip your fingers on the edges when grabbing for a board-off.
