The new Gaastra Bar 2012 System X is designed for fun and safety. The whole team tested it for more than a year every day and put every last little tiny detail under the microscope. The result is a technically perfect system, packaged in a cool yet almost alien like look. Based on the proven functionality of the Bar System v9, with innovative ideas and attention to detail the complete system was massively revised by the team.

ERGONOMICS
The Bar System X comes with an ergonomic design, giving you the best connection to your kite possible. The optimized bar diameter and newly designed bar grip let you the bar comfortable and with maximum power. This provides precise steering and power input to your kite.

SAFETY
A marvel of technology, the Magnetic QR. It is made to give the pilot the confidence that he is fully there at the crucial moment and will release without any problems, no matter what! To ensure this, the ingenious mechanism works completely without typical moving parts. Magnets ensure that the quick release is closed. This provides absolute security against accidental opening, but at the same time ensures that in all circumstances it will release when needed!

FUNCTIONS
The Standard Bar Setup ensures you can fly all Gaastra kites, and most competition kites with this bar. The combination of the adjustable bar width and extension lines makes sure you can use this bar on just every single kite with perfect performance, whether big kites in light wind, or tiny kites in blasting conditions. Thanks to the new Shift adjusters you can adjust the Depower – / Adjuster Range to your needs, making it easy to find your individual perfect setting.
