Pro limit has redeveloped the very fundamentals of boots & shoes. All existing boots & shoes are developed around a 3D last (a foot shaped mold). The last determines the shape and comfort of the boot. Whatever you do with a boot and shoe, the last maintains the shape of the final product. All the lasts currently used by other manufacturers for boots and shoes are based on diving and fishing boot standards. These lasts have a completely flat sole, straight ankle position, are too wide in the middle section and too wide in the heel. The new Pro-Limit lasts features a slanted (backwards leaning) ankle position, an orthopedic sole design, and a snap on heel fit. The difference is a combination of changes in every area of the foot and the result is unbelievable.
